New Shanghai Office Generates Maryland Press Coverage
Following Patton's May 30 announcement, several Maryland publications have produced stories
about Patton's new Shanghai liaison office, scheduled to open 1 July in
Shanghai's Maryland Center China.
On 10 June, Maryland's Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) published their
press release
about Patton's expanding presence in China and upcoming participation in ELE/EXPO COMM Shanghai.
DBEDs release prompted other stories in the Maryland news media. The Baltimore Business Journal
wasted no time in covering the story,
also published on 10 June. Also responding quickly to DBEDs release, The Maryland Daily Record interviewed Burt Patton,
Executive Vice President of Patton Electronics for their media piece, published two days later on 12 June.

Tech Notes
RAS: Configuring NFAS
RAS Customers: You can maximize utilization on PRI lines when you configure
Non-Facility Associated Signaling (NFAS) on your Patton RAS. Instead of giving up bandwidth for a signaling
channel on each line, this Tech Note teaches you how to configure
one signaling channel to control a group of PRIs.
