Patton Opens Shanghai Office

Excerpt: "30 May 2002, GAITHERSBURG, Maryland -- GAITHERSBURG, Maryland -- Having established their main office and business leadership team in Beijing (February 2002), Patton Electronics now further enhances their presence in China by announcing the commissioning of a new satellite liaison office in Shanghai. When it opens on July 1st, Patton's Liaison Office will join 13 other Maryland organizations who have chosen to locate their Shanghai operations in the Maryland Center China (MCC).

Patton will also be joining other Maryland companies for ELE/EXPO COMM Shanghai under the State of Maryland pavilion during June 27-30, 2002. This premier telecommunications exhibition in China is expected to attract hundreds of companies from around the world along with 50,000 visitors

RAS: Multi-Router Traffic Grapher

This new Tech Note discusses MRTG for use with Patton RAS products. The Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) monitors statistics for SNMP-managed equipment and displays the information graphically. about traffic on network links, active callers on a RAS equipment temperature, etc., can be summarized for multiple devices and displayed simultaneously on the web. The Tech Note shows sample graphs along with the underlying MRTG scripts used to generate them. A table of Web resources is also included.
